Marlow has accepted her fate of visiting Sunshine every Tuesday, one of those life duties everyone has to do, but when she discovers her gran in the basement, orchestrating fist fights between her fellow pensioners, she ends up deep in the village's underground senior fight club scene, an easy distraction from her difficult life at school. But when she discovers the dark side of rival clubs and dirty money, Marlow has no choice but to get involved in a geriatric turf war to take down an infamous ex–crime boss who threatens not only her family, but her home. Along the way, she finds connections where she’d never normally look, uncovers how fiercely she will protect her family, and comes to learn the bittersweet truths of love vs loyalty.
